Single stranding machines general information
This type of cabling machine is designed for stranding insulated cores. Machines have the wide range of applications from digital cables to power cables.
The configuration of the plug-in type stranding unit is stranding the workpieces by using a master tool-die, that is located before the stranding machine and allows to apply a strap, screen, drain wire before the stranding wire enters the machine and take-up on the coil. It allows to manufacture more complex cable designs by doing more operations in one pass.
A passive pay-off machine is used for passing drain wire (the additional option).

Single stranding machines provide the ability to cable insulated cores, as well as do more complex operations in a single pass, such as applying strap, screen and drain wire.
For workpieces cabling, it’s used the configuration of the fork-type stranding unit, which is located in front of the stranding machine. It allows to apply additional elements such as strap, screen and drain wire before the wires enter the stranding machine.
The passive pay-off machine is used for passing drain wire. This is an additional option that provides a more efficient cabling process.
Twisted-pair wires of plastic coils with the diameter of 500 are used as the workpiece.
