YSC series clutches (dual-shaft) are designed to transmit torque between two coaxial shafts. They are ideal for precise torque control, tensioning, smooth start and stop in various industrial machines, such as machine tools, printing, and packaging equipment
YSB series brakes have a single shaft (output only). They are not for transmitting rotation but for creating braking torque, i.e., for stopping, holding, or applying load (e.g., maintaining tension in roll-to-roll systems).
A hollow shaft is a design where a central bore passes through the device. This allows shafts, cables, hoses, or other elements to pass through, saving space and simplifying machine design. Series YS-A1, YS-B1, YS-A2, YS-B2, and YS-B3 feature hollow shafts.
These models are designed to be installed directly on a rotating unit (e.g., at the shaft end). The housing rotates with the shaft, while control is via stationary brushes or a rotating transformer. This design is suitable for compact installations.
The YS-B3 series features minimal axial length, which is critical for applications with severe space constraints, while retaining all advantages of magnetic powder technology.
These are compact and lightweight models (YSC Micro and YSB Micro series) with low nominal torque (0.1–1 kg·m). They are designed for precision applications in small automation systems, robotics, medical, and measuring equipment.
